Measure the real refresh rate of a phone or laptop screen (60, 90, 120, 144 Hz) and check that motion is smooth. Includes iPhone ProMotion instructions.
✓ Pass if
- Rate matches the specs (60/90/120 Hz)
- The ball moves smoothly
✗ Fail if
- Lower than specified even with battery saver off (iPhone: the web is locked to 60 Hz, see how to check below)
- Motion stutters or jerks
