Speaker test: left, right, distortion
Play sound on the left and right speakers separately and sweep 60 Hz to 16 kHz to hear rattling, distortion or a buzzing case. Works on phones and laptops.
✓ Pass if
- Sound is loud, clear and on the right side
- The sweep rises evenly, no rattle
✗ Fail if
- Speaker crackles or distorts, or is unusually quiet
- The case buzzes at some frequency
- One side is silent (on devices with two speakers)
